Kasia earned a doctoral degree in Chemistry from Carleton University. After her research career, she applied her chemistry background towards nutrition, which allowed her to work for 15 years as a consultant in large animal nutrition (horses, dairy, beef) as well as in soil and crop analysis.
She is also a horse owner (down to a herd of four) and rider. In addition to competing herself, she has been a certified riding coach since 1987 – coaching horse-rider combinations who place at regional, provincial, and national competitions. She was a carded judge for 20 years. She was a show organizer of local, provincial silver, and national gold shows.
During the past 40 years, Kasia has also trained in multiple bodywork and rehabilitation modalities. She currently owns an equine rehabilitation facility in Ontario where she also takes in mares for breeding by AI, and foals them out.
Her personal and business motto: If your horse says no, you either asked the wrong question or asked the question wrong.
