Hoof care is one of those controversial topics – like equine dentistry – where, in addition to the barefoot vs shoes debate, multiple approaches and differing opinions about hoof care abound.
We have invited a senior veterinarian – one who has devoted most of his career to collaborating closely with hoof care practitioners – to help us unpack these issues. During what promises to be an enlightening conversation with Dr. Haussler, our guest collaborator Dr. Dick Mansmann will share his insights about hoof care, teamwork, and communication. And about educating and empowering the horse owner whom he considers to be the leader of the care team.
Community Gatherings are one-hour conversations between Dr. Haussler and his guest collaborators, followed by 30 minutes discussion with attendees. Lifetime access to replays.
