New Textbook!

Dr. Haussler was in Naples, Florida last week to attend the 2nd Annual Symposium of the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitationยฎ (ACVSMR), an organization that he helped to create in 2009.

One of the weekโ€™s highlights was the official launch of a new equine rehabilitation textbook entitled ๐‘ฌ๐’”๐’”๐’†๐’๐’•๐’Š๐’‚๐’ ๐‘ญ๐’‚๐’„๐’•๐’” ๐’๐’‡ ๐‘ฌ๐’’๐’–๐’Š๐’๐’† ๐‘ท๐’‰๐’š๐’”๐’Š๐’„๐’‚๐’ ๐‘ป๐’‰๐’†๐’“๐’‚๐’‘๐’š, ๐‘น๐’†๐’‰๐’‚๐’ƒ๐’Š๐’๐’Š๐’•๐’‚๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’ ๐’‚๐’๐’… ๐‘บ๐’‘๐’๐’“๐’•๐’” ๐‘ด๐’†๐’…๐’Š๐’„๐’Š๐’๐’†, edited by Dr. Joao Paulo Marques. The textbookโ€™s section editors are Dr. Haussler, Dr. Steve Adair, Dr. Hilary Clayton and Dr. Johann Maierl. Dr. Haussler edited the โ€œManual Therapyโ€ section, which meant reviewing the chapters written by different authors on the topics of massage, passive range of motion, joint mobilization, chiropractic, and osteopathy. Dr. Haussler also authored the section entitled โ€œBasics of Functional Anatomy and Biomechanics of the Axial Skeletonโ€.

Dr. Haussler has been an ACVSMR Charter Diplomate since 2010. He served as ACVSMR President in 2017-2018, and from 2009-2019, he held several other offices on the Collegeโ€™s Board of Directors and was active on several committees.
